I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 14 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, families, couples, and children, to work through a variety of concerns to include: depression, anxiety, everyday stress, parenting, aging, life transitions, PTSD, grief and loss, low self-esteem/shame, attachment disorder, trauma, relationship issues, adoption, and anger management. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT/TF-CBT) for trauma and anxiety, attachment therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Additionally, I am a certified anger management treatment professional. I will typically incorporate different forms of evidence-based treatment modalities into my sessions. I am licensed to practice in Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland, Tennessee, Washington State, and Colorado, and provide therapy to adults seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their patterns. Making that initial step to contact a therapist is hard- arguably the hardest step in the process.
